If you are looking for Kennex, we are right on the ground floor of the Vinayak Complex, unit number 8. It’s directly opposite Dena Bank and very close to the Khadia Gate at Sarangpur Chakla. Being in Sarangpur means it’s always crowded and there’s always something happening outside the door. Our shop is small, but we pack a lot into it. We spend most of our day talking to people who walk in off the street. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have a big fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s more about having the stuff people need on the shelves. Sometimes we have to hunt for something in the back, but we usually find it. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the other shopkeepers around the gate. It’s a community. We start the day early and keep going until the evening rush is over. The traffic at the chakla can be a headache, but it brings people to our doorstep, so we can't complain too much. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just rely on being here and being honest with the people who come in. It’s a simple life, running a shop in a busy part of Ahmedabad. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things organized for the next customer.
