You can find us at 2 Parwati Thakurdas Mansion in Revdi Bazar. This area of Mirghawad is quite old and always has people moving through the narrow streets. We specialize in sweets, especially rabdi. If you walk past, you can usually smell the milk boiling. We have large iron vats that we use to simmer the milk for hours until it gets thick. It is a slow process, and there are not any shortcuts if you want it to turn out right. The shop is small and has that old-school feel to it. We do not have modern decor or fancy glass cases for everything. Most of our stuff is kept in simple containers. It gets quite hot in here because the stoves are going for most of the day. We have been in this spot for a long time, and the building itself shows its age. My father used to handle the counter, and now I do. We see the same customers coming back week after week. Sometimes we run out of things early if the morning was busy. Revdi Bazar is a hectic place to work, but we like being in the thick of it. We do not do much talking; we mostly just serve the customers and keep an eye on the pots. It is just a sweet shop, nothing more and nothing less. We keep the floors swept and the milk stirring.
