Kalikund Machine Tools/Jhaveri Tools Corner

We've been running Kalikund Machine Tools out of Bhurabhai Market for a good while now. It’s right across from the Ujala Hotel. People know us as Jhaveri Tools Corner too, mostly because of the mix of things we keep in stock. We are right there on the Bavla Gandhinagar Cross Road in Sarkhej. It’s a busy spot, but we like it here. My father started with just a few basic machines and tools, and then we just kept adding more as folks asked for them. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It's just the shop floor and some desks. Usually, one of us is around to help if someone walks in looking for a specific part or a tool for their workshop. We spend most of our days sorting through inventory or talking to the mechanics who stop by. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, but that’s just life in Sarkhej. We try to keep things simple here. If we have the tool you need, we'll tell you. If we don't, we might know who does. It’s a straightforward way to do business, and it works for us. Most of our regulars have been coming for years. They know where we are, tucked into shops 13 and 14. We don't do much advertising, mostly just word of mouth from people in the market. It keeps us busy enough throughout the week. Sometimes we close a bit early if it is a slow day.
