Jeevan Raksha Hospital

Jeevan Raksha Hospital is located out in Delad, which is near Sayad in the Olpad area of Gujarat. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the bigger cities, but for the people living in the village and the surrounding farms, we are right where they need us. The hospital is at a post called Delad. It’s a quiet place for the most part, surrounded by a lot of open land. We don't have the big city noise here, which is something we like. The building is solid and functional. We have the basic wards and a few rooms for checkups. Our staff mostly comes from the nearby villages, so everyone speaks the local language and knows the families around here. It’s a very different vibe than a city hospital. People often walk here or come on their tractors. We don't have a glossy website or a big reception desk with a computer. We mostly use paper files and keep things simple. Sometimes, during the monsoon, the road out here can get a bit muddy, but people still manage to make it in. We take care of whatever comes through the door, whether it’s a small scrape or something more serious that needs attention. It’s just a local hospital doing what it can for the folks in Olpad. We’ve been here a long time and plan to stay right where we are. We like the morning air here before the sun gets too high and the work day starts.
