Jatan Hospital

Jatan Hospital is tucked away on the first floor of the Sangam Shopping Centre, specifically in Part B. We are right across from the Shivali Flats, near the Akbharnagar Circle in New Vadaj. It is a busy area of Vadaj, so there is always something going on outside. Being inside a shopping center might seem a bit different for a hospital, but it works out well for the people living in the flats nearby. They can just walk over. We have been here for a while, and the space is used mainly for seeing patients and doing routine checkups. It is not a massive facility, so things stay pretty personal. You have to come up to the first floor to find us. The hallways are plain and we don't have a lot of signage, but people find us eventually. The shopping center has its own rhythm, and we are just one part of that. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic from the circle, but we don't mind it much. We focus on the daily tasks and helping the folks from the neighborhood. It is a very local kind of place. Most of our patients are people we see at the market or around the circle. It’s just a normal hospital doing normal work for the community here in Vadaj. We try to be helpful and stay out of the way of the shoppers. It is a simple life for us.
