Jani Hospital

You can find Jani Hospital tucked away in Urmikunj Society. We are right behind the Bank of Baroda, near the corner where St. Xavier’s College is. It is a busy corner of Navrangpura, but once you step inside our gate, things settle down a bit. This hospital has been part of the society for a long time. The building itself is older, with those thick walls that keep the heat out during the summer months. We have a few benches outside where people sit while they wait for their turn. Most of the patients come from the surrounding streets, though we get students from the college too when they get sports injuries or seasonal flu. Our desks are usually covered in folders and logbooks because we still like keeping physical records for everything. It feels more reliable that way. The nurses are usually running back and forth between the wards and the pharmacy area. It is a bit of a maze inside if you aren't used to it, with small hallways leading to different exam rooms. We don't spend money on shiny signs or big advertisements. Most people just know we are here because their parents or grandparents came here too. It is a simple setup, really. We focus on getting the work done and making sure everyone who walks in gets the attention they need before they head back home to their families.
