Jainam Sales Corporation

We are based in Odhav GIDC, specifically at Shop Number 1 in the Agrasen Industrial Estate. It’s near the Chotalala Chawl Char Rasta, at Plot Number 622. Being in a GIDC area means we are surrounded by factories and workshops. The roads are often rough from the heavy trucks, and there is always a layer of grey dust on the windows. We handle sales for industrial items that the nearby plants need. Our shop is at the front of the estate, so we see everyone coming and going. It’s a small room with shelves reaching up to the ceiling. We use a ladder to get the things from the top, which is always a bit of a chore. The heat in Odhav can be quite intense, so we keep the doors open to get whatever breeze we can. We don't have any marketing people or fancy brochures. People just stop by because they saw our sign or heard about us from someone else in the GIDC. We’ve got an old desk where we sit and write out the bills by hand most of the time. It’s a busy life, especially on Monday mornings when everyone realizes they are out of supplies. We just do our best to help out and keep the local businesses running. It’s nothing special, just a regular day's work for us.
