You can find us at Kathlal Chokdi in the Kheda district. Being right at the chokdi means we are easy to spot if you are traveling through. The hospital has been a part of this area for a while now. It’s a solid building with different wards and a small emergency area. We have a lot of people coming in from the surrounding villages because there aren't many other places nearby. The hallways are usually full of people sitting on benches or waiting for news. It’s not a quiet place. You hear the sounds of carts moving and people talking in the corridors. We have a small staff of nurses and doctors who are usually on their feet all day. Kheda is a big district, and we get people from all over. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or water issues, but we just manage it as it comes. It is a no-frills kind of hospital. We focus on getting people into beds and seeing what the problem is. The furniture is old, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the medicine is what matters. We aren't looking to win any awards. We just want to make sure that when someone from Kathlal Chokdi comes in with a problem, we are there to help them out. That’s what we do every day and every night for the people around here.
