Idhs Foundation

If you have ever been to the S.G. Highway in Ahmedabad, you know how fast everything moves. Our foundation is right in the middle of that rush, over at Shapath Hexa. We are in office A-507, which is near the Sola Bridge. It’s actually right opposite the Gujarat High Court, so there are always lots of lawyers and people in suits walking around outside. Our office feels a bit different than those fancy law firms, though. We keep things pretty relaxed inside. We have some desks, a few computers that are getting a bit old, and a lot of paperwork. Dealing with the foundation's work takes up most of our energy. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write glossy brochures. We just talk to the people who come through our door. The view from the fifth floor is mostly of the highway traffic and the big buildings nearby. It can get pretty hectic when the court is in session, but we just stay focused on our tasks. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to catch up on, watching the city lights come on. We aren't doing anything glamorous. We are just a group of people who show up and do the work that needs doing. It’s a simple life, even if we are in a big glass building. We like the energy of the highway and the feeling of being right where things are happening every day.
