You can find us at Sai Baba Nivas on Relief Road, which is one of the busiest parts of the city. We are right near the Alka Petrol Pump and just opposite Khalas Khancha. If you’ve ever walked down these lanes, you know how narrow and crowded they are. Our shop is in a building that has been around for a long time. The staircase is a bit steep and the paint is peeling in some places, but it’s a good spot for us. We trade in various items and our shelves are usually overflowing with stock. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we have a system that works for us. Usually, the morning starts with a cup of tea and checking what needs to be delivered that day. Relief Road is always full of traffic and noise, so we have to speak loudly to hear each other. We’ve known the people in the neighboring shops for decades. We talk about the weather or the local news while waiting for customers. Sometimes it gets frustrating when the deliveries are late because of the traffic jams outside. But we just take it as it comes. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. We just open the doors and do our business the way we always have. It’s a simple operation and we like it that way.
