Heart Of Universe Foundation

We are located at 299-5 on the first floor. We’re in Vora Ni Chali, right near the Nisha Idali Centre in Maninagar East. It’s a busy little spot in Ahmedabad. You can always smell the food from the idali place nearby, which makes us hungry all day long. Our foundation is just a small group of us who wanted to do something good. The office isn't very big at all. We have a few desks and a lot of old files stacked up. Maninagar is a crowded area, but it has a lot of heart. That’s kind of why we picked the name Heart Of Universe. We see people struggling with all sorts of things and we just try to step in where we can. It’s not some polished operation. We make mistakes and sometimes things take longer than they should because we are shorthanded, but we really care about the people who come to us. We spend a lot of time just listening to stories. Sometimes that's all people need. The building is old and the stairs are a bit steep and narrow, but it’s our home. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just wake up, come to the office, and see who needs a hand today. It’s simple, really. Just people helping people in our own neighborhood. We’ve been here at 380008 for a while now and we plan to stay as long as we can.
