Harsh Tools Industries

Our workshop is located in Shramjivi Vashahat, which is in the Rakhial area. We are right near the Vanraj Soap Factory and across from Rajendra Park, in a small lane called Tiwari Khancho. The area is very industrial and there is always a lot of activity going on. We make different kinds of tools and parts here. It’s a noisy place with the sounds of grinding and metal hitting metal all day long. The shop is a bit cramped because we have a lot of machines squeezed into a small space. We started out small and just kept adding bits and pieces as we went along. It’s not a very pretty sight, with wires running along the walls and oil stains on the floor, but it’s where we work. We usually have a radio playing in the background to keep things lively. The neighborhood is full of workers and small businesses just like ours. Sometimes we share a meal with the guys from the shop next door. We don't have a big sign or anything like that, just our name painted on the wall. It’s a tough job sometimes, especially when the orders pile up, but we just put our heads down and get through it. We’re just regular people trying to do a good job in our little corner of Rakhial.
