Hari Shani Foundation

We are set up in Shop No S/108/1 over at the Sangath-2 building. It is right near the Motera Stadium on Motera Road. If you are from around here in Sabarmati, you know how busy this part of Ahmedabad gets when there is a big cricket match. We are just a local group working out of this small space. The shop is not very fancy, just a few desks and some chairs. We deal with whatever comes our way during the day. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear, but we are used to the noise by now. We have been here for a bit and the neighbors in the other shops are mostly friendly people. The Hari Shani Foundation is just a name on the door, really. Most of our time is spent on regular paperwork and talking to people who stop by. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us trying to keep things organized. The heat in Gujarat can be quite something in the summer months, so we keep the fan running all day long. Getting here is easy enough if the stadium road isn't blocked off. There is a small tea stall just a few steps away where we usually go when we need a break from the office. It’s just a normal workplace in a normal part of town.
