Hajari-Almaula Foundation

Our place is located at SY No 110/B, F.P. No 34/A in the Navchetan Co-op Housing Society. We are near Majura Bhagol in Surat. It’s a busy area and the housing society is quite old and established. We’ve been operating out of here for some time now. The foundation is mostly about helping the local community with their everyday needs. We don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning in every room. It’s more of a traditional setup where we have a few desks and a lot of registers. We spend a lot of time meeting with the residents and people from the nearby areas. Surat is a fast-moving city, but in our corner near Majura Bhagol, things feel a bit more personal. We deal with all sorts of social issues, trying to help people navigate through their problems. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we run out of space for all the people who come to talk to us. We don't use any corporate talk or have a mission statement on the wall. We just know what needs to be done each morning. Whether it's helping someone with a document or organizing a small local gathering, we stay busy. Being part of the Navchetan society means we are right in the thick of things. We just try to be a steady presence for the people who live around here and need a little support.
