Gurukrupa Electric & Armature House

Gurukrupa Electric & Armature House is located down in the cellar of the Saikrupa Complex. You can find us on Gandhi Road, right across from the Saibaba Temple near the Bala Hanuman area. Being in the cellar means it stays a bit cooler, which is nice when we are working on motors and armatures all day. We do a lot of rewinding and electrical repairs. The shop is often filled with the smell of varnish and old copper wire. It is a bit cramped with all the heavy equipment around, but we manage to navigate the space. People bring us their broken fans or industrial motors, and we take a look at them. We do not have a fancy front desk or anything. It is just a counter where you can drop things off and pick them up. Sometimes it takes a few days if we are waiting for specific parts, but we try to be quick about it. The Saikrupa Complex is a well-known building, so most folks do not have trouble finding us once they get to Gandhi Road. We have seen the neighborhood change over the years, but our little cellar shop has stayed pretty much the same. We enjoy the work and the people who stop by to chat while they wait for their machines. It is just a local electrical shop doing what we know how to do best with our hands.
