Gopi Intigent Foundation

Gopi Intigent Foundation is set up in the Shilaj area of Ahmedabad. We are at Aryaman Bunglow, number D-64, in the Daskroi part of town. It is a bit further out from the city center, which makes it a lot quieter. Working out of a bungalow feels more like a home than an office. We have a garden area out front and some trees that give good shade. Inside, we have converted some of the rooms into workspaces for the foundation. It’s a relaxed atmosphere. We don't wear suits or have formal board meetings. Usually, we just sit around the table and discuss what needs to happen next. You won't find any marble lobbies or glass elevators here. Just a regular front door and some stairs. We do our own filing and handle the phones ourselves. It’s a small operation. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside, and we can hear them while we work. It’s a very human way to run a foundation. We focus on the tasks at hand without making a big fuss about things. If someone comes by, we usually have time for a quick chat. It is just a simple, practical place to work on our projects.
