Gayatri Hospital & Health Center

If you head down to the Gidc Colony in Odhav, you’ll find us at Lig 2 8/85. It’s a bit of an industrial area, so there’s always a lot of activity with trucks and workers moving around. Gayatri Hospital & Health Center has been part of this Odhav neighborhood for quite a while now. The address sounds a bit complicated with all those numbers, but once you’re in the colony, it’s easy enough to spot our door. We get a lot of workers from the nearby factories coming in with various things. The space inside is laid out simply. We have the main health center area and then some smaller rooms for consultations. It’s usually pretty loud outside because of the GIDC traffic, but we’ve got some thick windows that help keep the noise down a little bit. The floor is tiled and we spend a good chunk of the morning mopping it to keep the dust away. It’s a lot of work keeping a place like this running in an industrial zone, but we’ve got a good routine down now. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything, we just rely on people telling their friends and neighbors about us. It’s a straightforward operation, and we just try to be helpful to the people who live and work in this part of Ahmedabad. It is a busy life, but we are used to the pace by now.
