Our office is at 22-23 Advance Plaza, which is right across from the Swamy Narayan Temple. We are on Sai Baug Road in the Shahibaug area. It’s a pretty good location because the temple is a major landmark, so people don’t get lost trying to find us. We work in the export and import business, which sounds like it might be complicated, but it’s mostly just a lot of coordination and checking lists. We spend a lot of time on our computers and phones, talking to people in different time zones. The office is usually filled with the sound of typing and the occasional argument about a shipping delay. We have samples of various products sitting on the windowsills and in boxes on the floor. It’s not a showroom; it’s a working office. Shahibaug is a nice part of town, and we like the atmosphere here. Sometimes we walk over to the temple area for lunch because there are some good food stalls there. We don't have a fancy dress code. Most days it’s just jeans and shirts. We are a small team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, whether it’s filing papers or talking to a new supplier. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just move goods from one place to another and make sure the paperwork is correct. It’s a busy life, but we like the pace.
