Fortune Concept is tucked away in the basement of the Shree Krishna Centre, right at Mithakali Six Road in Navrangpura. Being in the basement means it stays a bit cooler than the street level, which we appreciate during the hot months. It’s a busy junction outside, so there is always the sound of horns and people talking. We use our space for various design and planning projects. It’s not a very big area, so we have to be careful with how we store things. We have a few desks, some computers, and a lot of paper samples and catalogs scattered about. It’s a bit of a workspace rather than a showroom. We’ve been in this Navrangpura spot for a good number of years now. Most of the other shopkeepers in the building are our friends, and we often share a cup of tea in the afternoons. We aren't trying to be a high-end firm with a fancy glass entrance. People just walk down the stairs and find us working. Sometimes we stay late when a project needs extra attention, but we try to keep a normal schedule. We handle the work ourselves without a lot of layers of management. It’s just easier that way. If you come by, you might find us debating a layout or just catching up on some reading. It’s a quiet, steady life here in the basement and we are quite content with it.
