Eduny Foundation

We are over at 203, Shree Ganesh Appt, which is right opposite Gandhi Park near the Ambema Mandir in Maninnagar. It’s a pretty easy place to find because the temple and the park are big landmarks around here. The Eduny Foundation office is basically just a few rooms where we keep our files and meet up to plan things. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always noise from the street, but we don't mind it. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and a lot of books and papers. We started this because we wanted to have a home base for the work we do in the community. It’s not a polished corporate environment. The paint is peeling a little in the corner and the fan makes a bit of a clicking sound. But it's our space. We spend most of our time dealing with local issues and trying to get resources to where they are needed. People often drop by after visiting the park or the temple to ask what we're up to. We try to be helpful without making things too formal. It’s a practical way to spend the day. We don’t have a receptionist or anything; you just come in and one of us will look up from whatever we’re writing. It’s a simple life here in Maninnagar, and we like it that way. We usually finish up by six most evenings.
