Dirghayu Hospital

Dirghayu Hospital is situated in the Madhurika Annexe on the road that goes from Jivaraj Park to Vejalpur. We are located right in the Jivraj Park area, and if you are looking for a landmark, the Ashapura Temple is very close to us. You can often hear the temple bells in the morning and evening, which is quite nice. The hospital is in a busy part of town where there are always rickshaws and cars passing by. It’s not a massive building with hundreds of beds, but we have enough space to take care of the people who come to see us. The interior is functional and clean, though it’s definitely not a luxury facility. We have the usual hospital smells and the sound of machines humming in the background. People from Jivraj Park and Vejalpur come to us because we are close to home. We see a lot of different cases throughout the day. The staff here is mostly local, so we talk to patients in the way we talk to our own neighbors. It’s a bit of a hectic place sometimes, especially during the monsoon when more people get sick. We don't have a big marketing department or a fancy website. We just rely on people knowing where we are and coming in when they need help. It’s a local hospital for local people, and we just focus on getting through the daily list of patients.
