Decoration The Furnishing Shop

Our shop is at 9 Bhagwati Chambers, which is really close to the Swastik Cross Road on C G Road in Navrangpura. It’s a good spot, though the traffic can be a nightmare during the evening rush hour. Decoration The Furnishing Shop has been our second home for a long time. We have all sorts of things for the house inside, mostly fabrics and small decorative items. The shelves are packed pretty tight and sometimes things fall off when you’re trying to reach something at the back. We aren't very fancy here. The lighting is a bit dim and the floor is a little worn out from all the people walking in and out over the years. We spend our days chatting with the regular customers who stop by just to see what’s new. Usually, it’s just me and my brother running the place. We do our own cleaning and we handle all the accounts ourselves. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up. We don’t have any big corporate goals, we just want to keep the shop running and make sure the bills are paid. Navrangpura is a busy area and we’ve seen shops come and go, but we’re still here in our little corner of Bhagwati Chambers, just doing what we’ve always done with the fabrics and the home stuff. It’s a steady life and we’re happy with it. Most nights we close up after everyone else.
