Daan Amrut Foundation

We are over at Ramya Apartments in Ambawadi, specifically unit 4/A. It’s a handy location since we are right across from the Ketav petrol pump. Everyone around here knows that pump, so it makes giving directions pretty simple for us. The building is just a standard apartment block, nothing special to look at from the outside. We’ve set up our space here to handle the Foundation’s daily stuff. It gets a bit busy on the main road, but inside the apartment, it stays mostly calm. We spend our days dealing with whatever comes across the desk. Ambawadi is a nice enough area to work in, lots of shops and trees nearby. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped with all the files, but we make it work. The neighbors in the other apartments are used to us being here by now. We try not to make too much noise. It’s not like those big corporate offices you see in the city center. It’s just a room with some chairs and a table where we can sit down and talk to people. Being near the petrol pump means there’s always cars moving around, but it feels alive. We like being part of the neighborhood. It’s where we live and work, and it suits the way we do things. No big signs or anything, just Daan Amrut Foundation doing its thing in 4/A.
