Comfort

You’ll find Comfort at the Akash Complex, units 27 to 30, on the upper level. We’re right across from Premchand Nagar Society on Judges Bunglow Road in Bodakdev. It’s a good location, and being on the upper level gives us a bit of a view of the street, though it’s mostly just cars and people. We deal with various items meant for the home, so there’s always something to unpack or rearrange. The shop is fairly large since we have four units joined together, but it still feels full. We spend a lot of time walking back and forth between the different sections. Bodakdev is a nice area, and the crowd is usually pretty relaxed. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; it's just us keeping the place tidy and helping people who wander in. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles when it’s really hot outside, but we manage. We’ve got a small back room where we keep our bags and have our lunch. It’s a lot of standing around and talking to visitors, which can be tiring, but it's okay. We try to keep the displays looking decent, even if things get moved around by kids or busy shoppers. It’s a simple operation, really. We just open the doors in the morning and see how the day goes. Most of us have been working together here for a few years now.
