Cims Hospital

This place is quite large and stays busy around the clock. We are located on Science City Road in the Sola area, not far from the Sola Bridge. People call us CIMS for short, but the full name is the Care Institute of Medical Sciences. It is a big building and it can be easy to get lost in the corridors if you are not familiar with the layout. We have lots of different departments, from heart stuff to general surgery. The lobby is almost always full of people waiting for news or checking in. It can feel a bit overwhelming at times because of the sheer number of patients and families coming through the doors. Our staff is always on the move, rushing between the wards and the labs. We are not here to give you a sales pitch. It is a hospital, so things are often stressful and the coffee in the canteen isn't the greatest, but the medical work gets done. There is plenty of parking around the back, though it fills up fast in the afternoon. We see patients from all over Gujarat, not just here in Ahmedabad. Since we are near the bridge, it is easy for ambulances to get in and out quickly. It is a high-pressure environment, and we just focus on the daily tasks of running a big medical facility. It is noisy, it is busy, and there is always something happening in one of the rooms.
