Catenation Foods Private Limited

We are over at the Z-One building, unit 915, which is near the Avalon Hotel just off Sindhu Bhavan Road. It’s a modern part of Ahmedabad, but our office feels pretty lived-in. We have boxes of food samples sitting on the floor and posters on the walls that are slightly crooked. We deal with the logistics of food, mostly. It involves a lot of phone calls and staring at computer screens to make sure everything is where it should be. The traffic on Sindhu Bhavan Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually stick around a bit later to let it clear out. We aren't some massive corporation with a huge board of directors. It’s just a few of us trying to make the business work. We drink a lot of tea while we argue about shipping schedules. The space is a bit cramped, especially when a new shipment arrives. We don’t have a receptionist; if the door opens, one of us just looks up from our desk. It’s a straightforward way to run things. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and we know the tea stall guy downstairs pretty well. Just a regular food business doing the daily grind. We don’t use fancy software, just basic spreadsheets and a lot of persistence to get the job done right.
