We operate out of 61 Kailash Estate, which is right near the Sardar Patel Estate in Odhav Gidc. Being on the Sardar Patel Ring Road makes it quite easy for transport, which is good because we move a lot of stuff every single day. The estate is a typical industrial area with a lot of noise and trucks coming and going. Our unit is one of those places that stays busy from early morning till late evening. We handle various industrial supplies and products that people in the Gidc need for their factories. Inside, it looks like a typical warehouse—high ceilings, heavy metal racks, and the smell of industrial goods. We aren't trying to win any beauty contests with our shop floor. It is about having the right items in stock when a customer calls with an urgent order. The Odhav area is quite dusty and can be very hot, especially in the summer months when the sun hits the metal roofs. We mostly focus on filling orders and making sure the inventory counts are right. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes and checking labels in the heat. Most of the people who come here are regulars who have been buying from us for many years. They know where to find us and they know we don’t stand on ceremony. We just get the job done and move on to the next one. It is a no-nonsense environment. If there’s a problem, we fix it and keep moving. That is how things work around here in the industrial heart of the city.
