Our workshop is at 3, Umiya Estate, which is right behind the Bharat Party Plot on Ctm Road. Amraiwadi is an industrial kind of place, so we fit right in here with the other units. We make drying and heating equipment. It’s not the kind of work that’s clean or quiet. There’s always the sound of metal being worked on or welding going on in the background. The floor is concrete and usually has some scraps or tools scattered about. We aren't a big corporation with fancy lobbies or receptionists. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us in our work clothes, maybe a bit sweaty because it gets hot with all the heating units we test. The office is just a small partitioned area where we keep the blueprints and the computer. It’s practical and nothing more. We spend most of our day out on the floor making sure the machines are being built right. Ctm Road can get very jammed with trucks, so getting materials in and out is always a bit of a challenge for us. We’ve been in Umiya Estate for quite a while now. We know the neighbors and the local tea guys who come around. It’s a tough business, and we just keep our heads down and do the work. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just build equipment that works for the people who buy it from us and try to stay on schedule.
