Asian Bariatrics Hospital

This place is located on the 4th floor of the Medicare building. We are right behind the M. J. Library in the Ellis Bridge area. It’s a pretty central spot, I guess. Working on the 4th floor means we spend a lot of time waiting for the elevators, which can be a bit temperamental sometimes. Most people come here because they are dealing with weight issues and looking for surgeries. It’s a bariatric hospital, so that is the main focus every single day. The view from the windows is mostly just other buildings and the street below. Ellis Bridge is always busy, so there is always a lot of noise from the traffic. We’ve got a small staff here, and we all know each other well. It’s not like those giant hospitals where you get lost in the hallways. We just have our floor and our routine. The library being so close is nice for some peace and quiet during breaks, though we don't get many of those. Some patients stay for a few days, others are just in and out for consultations. We try to keep things organized, but hospitals are always a bit chaotic by nature. There’s always paperwork to fill out and phones ringing at the front desk. It’s just a regular workplace for us, really. We show up, do the job, and go home like everyone else. We have been in this location for a while now.
