Aristo Industries (Rakhial)

Our place, Aristo Industries, is situated at unit 22 in the Union Industrial Estate. We are right over in the Rakhial area, near where the old Gujarat Bottling plant used to be. Working in an industrial estate means you’re surrounded by the sound of machines and the smell of grease all day long. It’s a busy environment where everyone is just trying to get their orders finished. Our unit is tucked between a few other workshops, so there’s always someone coming by to borrow a tool or just to say hello. The space inside is mostly taken up by machinery and stacks of raw materials waiting to be processed. We have a small corner with a couple of chairs where we take our breaks. The lighting isn't the best, but we know where everything is even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. Rakhial gets quite congested during the shift changes, so we usually try to get our big deliveries out early in the morning. It’s hard work, and the floor is always covered in metal shavings or dust, but it’s what we do. We don't have a front desk or a lobby. You just walk in through the rolling shutter and find us at the back. It’s just an honest day’s work in a part of town that never really stops for a break.
