Our Ahmedabad branch is over in Bhat GIDC, right near the Indra Bridge and not far from the Mother Dairy. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always a lot of movement and noise outside. The building itself is a big structure that’s hard to miss if you’re coming across the bridge. It gets quite dusty because of the road construction and the trucks, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass and the front steps. Inside, the floors are usually shiny from the afternoon mopping. The waiting room is large because we get people coming in from the city and the surrounding industrial areas every day. The staff is always on the move, walking between the different wings of the building. You’ll see the cleaning crew with their buckets and the security guards checking things at the door. It’s a bit of a loud place with all the talking and the phones ringing at the nurse's stations. We have a small canteen that does okay snacks, and the tea is usually pretty strong. It doesn't feel like a corporate office; it feels like a place where things are actually happening. We deal with a lot of paperwork and people asking for directions to the different labs. It’s just the daily routine for us here. We keep the doors open and the lights on, regardless of how busy or dusty the road gets outside.
