Our office is in Ahmedabad, right at 21 New Wishwambhar Apartment near the Pratik Food Market in Bapunagar. It’s a lively spot to be in. The market is always buzzing with people buying vegetables and snacks. Our office is actually in an apartment building, which makes it feel a bit more like home and less like a cold office. We handle international hospital matters from here. It involves a lot of coordination with people from different places. We spend a lot of time on emails and long-distance calls. Because we are in Bapunagar, we have plenty of options for lunch. We usually go out and grab something from the stalls nearby. The office itself is pretty simple. We have our desks, some filing cabinets, and a lot of paper. It gets a bit crowded when everyone is in at the same time. Ahmedabad is a hot city, so we’re grateful for the fans and the AC when it’s working. We don't have a lot of big signs or fancy posters. We just have our work. We've been in this spot for some time and we've gotten used to the rhythms of the building. Neighbors come and go, and we just keep filing our reports and managing the hospital's international side. It's a steady routine for us and we just get on with it.
