Amin Hospital

Our hospital is over in Usmanpura, specifically at 14 Amin Society. It’s tucked away a bit, near the Usmanpura Railway Crossing. Being in a society means it feels more like a house than a big institutional building. We have the usual hospital rooms set up inside what used to be a more residential-feeling space. The railway crossing is right there, so you definitely hear the trains and the bells when they go through. It’s just part of the atmosphere here. We have a small team that runs the place. We do the rounds, check on the patients in the beds, and handle the walk-ins that come from the surrounding streets. It’s not a place with a massive cafeteria or a gift shop. We focus on the basic medical care that people in the Usmanpura area need. Sometimes the gate to the society gets a bit blocked with scooters, which can be a hassle, but we manage. The people who work here have been doing this for a long time. We know how the local neighborhood works and we try to fit into it. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that on the wall. We just show up, do the medical work, and go home. It’s a practical, local hospital for the people who live nearby and need someone to look at them when they’re feeling unwell. We just try to keep things running smoothly each day.
