Amena Khatun General Hospital

Amena Khatun General Hospital is located right at Sonal Cross Road, just off the busy Sarkhej Road in the Juhapura area. The hospital stays quite busy because of where it is situated. We open up the doors early in the morning and start the day by checking the registers. The hallways are usually full of people coming in from the neighborhood. It is not a very quiet place because of all the traffic noise from the main road nearby, but we have gotten used to that over the years. We have benches lined up in the waiting area for people to sit. Most of the staff has been working here for a long time, so we know the routine well. We spend a lot of our time walking back and forth between the different rooms and the main desk. The building itself shows its age a little bit, with some worn spots on the floor and walls, but it serves its purpose for the local community. We have a small room in the back where we keep our files and take our lunch breaks when there is a moment of quiet. The water cooler is a popular spot in the afternoons when it gets hot outside. People from all over Juhapura find their way here because it is a familiar landmark near the intersection. We just try to keep things moving and help whoever walks through the front door each day.
