Varun Exports

Varun Exports is located right near Shivaji Mandir on Balkeshwar Road. It’s a busy spot, especially on days when there’s a lot going on at the mandir. You can hear the bells and the people outside while we sit in the office doing our work. We aren't a massive company with a fancy glass building. We just have this one spot where we handle all our export business. It’s mostly paperwork and coordinating with the docks to see when the ships are leaving. Some days it’s a real mess with the traffic on Balkeshwar Road, and getting a delivery van in or out can take forever. We have a few old desks and some computers that have seen better days. We don't really have a lobby for visitors, so people usually just walk right into the middle of whatever we are doing. We've been operating here for a long time, and we know the local chai wallah and the other shopkeepers around the temple. It’s a decent place to be. We don't have any big marketing plans or anything like that. We just try to get the shipping documents right so our clients don't have headaches at the port. It’s a lot of back-and-forth on the phone with agents. Sometimes things go smooth, and sometimes everything is delayed, but we just keep at it. It’s just us doing what we know how to do without any extra fluff or corporate talk.
