Raman Exports

You can find us over at 61, Bansal Nagar, right off Fatehabad Road. It’s a busy area with a lot of tourists passing by on their way to the monuments, but we’re tucked back a little bit. Raman Exports is basically a small team of us working out of this building. We’ve got a lot of stock piled up in the back rooms, and sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a new order comes in. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to worry about that. We’ve been here for quite some time now. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we just walk or take a rickshaw to the office. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s a practical space. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking over the goods before they get packed up. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, which is just part of living in this city, so we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. We don't have any big speeches or slogans. We just try to get the packing right and make sure everything is where it needs to be. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We don't really have a regular closing time, we just leave when the work is finished for the day.
