Unique Exports

You’ll find us at 7 Kalindi Puram on Mau Road. Unique Exports isn't a very large place, just a simple building where we pack up goods to send off to other places. We deal with all sorts of items depending on what's available and what our customers are asking for at the time. There are always cardboard boxes piled up and rolls of packing tape lying around on the floor. It can get a bit chaotic when we have a tight deadline to meet for a shipment. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists to make sure we haven't missed a single item. The Mau Road area is usually busy, so there’s a lot of coming and going throughout the day. We’ve been here for a few years and we’ve slowly filled up the space with shelving and packing stations. It’s not a fancy office environment at all. We’re usually wearing comfortable work clothes and getting our hands a bit dirty with the boxes and the tape. Sometimes things get delayed at the port or with the transport trucks, and we just have to wait it out like everyone else. It’s a straightforward business of moving things from one point to another. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just focus on the logistics and making sure the packages are taped up tight.
