V K Arts & Craft

If you find yourself near Kailash Cinema, you might notice us. V K Arts & Craft is located at 18/160-B on Fatehabad Road. It’s a busy stretch of road and there is always a lot of noise from the cars and the people going to the movies. Our shop is filled with all sorts of things we’ve collected or made over time. It’s not one of those neat, organized places where everything is in a glass case. There is a bit of dust here and there, and things are stacked where they fit. We spend our days working on different pieces, sometimes getting paint on our hands or wood shavings on the floor. It’s how it should be when you’re making things. Being near the cinema means we see a lot of different faces every day. Some people just pop in because they are waiting for a show to start. We don't try to sell them anything hard; we just let them look around. The light in the shop is a bit dim in the back, but it’s cozy. Fatehabad Road stays active until late at night. Sometimes we stay late too, just finishing up a project that took longer than expected. We aren't a big corporation, just a small art and craft place trying to keep the traditions going. It’s hard work sometimes, but seeing a finished piece makes it worth it.
