Praveena Impex

At number 25 in Amat Vihar, life moves at its own pace. Praveena Impex is just a local setup in the Dayal Bagh area. It’s easy to miss if you aren’t looking for the number on the gate. We have a small yard in front where we keep some of the heavier stuff. It gets quite hot in the summer, so we keep the fans running all day long. Most of the neighbors know us by now because we’ve been here quite a while. We handle import and export stuff, so there’s always a lot of bubble wrap and tape lying around. It’s messy work sometimes. The staff is just a few of us who have lived around here for years. We don't really have a reception area, you just walk right into the middle of everything. Someone is always counting something or writing in a ledger. We use those old-fashioned ledgers because they never crash. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to move everything out of the way. When it rains, the sound on the roof is so loud we can hardly hear each other talk. We just keep working through it. It’s a practical place for practical work. We don't have much time for small talk when there are shipments waiting. It is simple but it keeps us all fed and busy enough.
