Pawan Export

Pawan Export is located at 2/6, South Gate, Taj Mahal, in the Taj Ganj area. Being so close to such a famous landmark means there is never a quiet moment. We are right there where the tourists and the guides and the local vendors all mix together. Our building is old, like most of the structures in Taj Ganj, and it has a lot of character even if the walls are a bit crooked. We work out of the South Gate side, which is a bit different from the main tourist entrance but still very busy. Most of our day is spent dealing with the logistics of moving goods through these narrow streets. It’s not an easy place to get a truck into, so we do a lot of the heavy lifting by hand or with smaller carts. We don't have a corporate boardroom; we usually just talk about business over a cup of chai on the doorstep. The sound of the crowds is always in the background, but we’ve learned to tune it out and focus on the orders. We deal with all sorts of people from all over the world who are looking for exports. It’s a simple, hardworking life here in the shadow of the Taj. We don't put on airs or try to look bigger than we are. We just keep our head down, get the packing done, and make sure everything is sent out on time.
