Marble Men

We are over here at No. 18/160 C on Fatehabad Road in Tajganj. Most days start pretty early because the sun gets hot fast in this part of town. Marble Men isn't a fancy place, just a lot of stone and some guys who know how to move it around. You can usually find us covered in a bit of white dust from the cutting. The road outside is always busy with people heading toward the monuments, but we just focus on the slabs in front of us. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit and wait, which gives us a chance to grab some tea from the stall nearby. We’ve been at this address for a while now. The yard is full of different pieces, some big and some small. We don't spend much time on the computer or making things look perfect for a website. Usually, we are just out back checking the inventory or talking to a truck driver about a delivery. It gets noisy with the saws going, but that's just how the work is here. If you walk past the Tajganj area, you’ll likely hear us before you see us. We keep things simple and just try to get the orders loaded right so nobody has to come back twice. It’s hard work on the back, but seeing the finished stone makes it feel okay. We’re just a local crew trying to keep the business going one day at a time.
