Sagar Marble Industries

Sagar Marble Industries is located at 17/361 Katra Taj Ganj. We are right across from the Taj Mahal, which is a famous spot, but for us, it’s just where we work every day. The streets in this part of town are very narrow and always crowded with people. It makes it a real challenge to get our marble slabs delivered. We’ve been here for a long time, and we’re used to the noise of the tourists and the traffic. Inside our workshop, it’s even noisier with the sound of cutting and polishing stone. We aren't some big modern factory. It’s a lot of traditional work done by hand or with older machines. There is marble dust on every surface, and we spend most of our time covered in it. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy website. Most of the people who come to us are locals or people who have heard about us from others in the trade. We have slabs of all sizes leaning against the walls, and you have to be careful where you step. It’s heavy work, and our backs usually ache by the time we go home. We just focus on the job at hand and try to get the marble looking right. It’s a busy, cramped place to work, but it’s home for our business. We’ve been part of the Katra Taj Ganj community for years, just doing our marble work as best as we can.
