You can find us at House/No-12/48 in Sui Katra, right on Hospital Road. It’s a very old building and the stairs are a bit narrow. We’ve been operating out of this same spot for generations. My grandfather started it, then my father, and now it’s our turn. The area is always crowded because of the hospital nearby. There are ambulances going past at all hours and people everywhere. Our shop is quite small and filled with all sorts of things we’ve collected over the years. We don't have a modern filing system or anything. A lot of our records are still kept in big ledgers because it’s what we know. It works for us. Sometimes it takes a minute to find a specific receipt, but we always do. We aren't a big corporation with departments. We all just do a bit of everything. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. We don't have a website or fancy brochures. Most of our customers are locals who have lived on Hospital Road for years. They know where we are. We open up early and usually close once the street gets a bit quieter in the evening. The door has a bit of a stick to it in the humidity, so you have to give it a good push. It’s just a normal, busy place where we try to keep things moving. We're just trying to keep the family name going and do right by people. It's home.
