Our business, Goyal Stones Pvt. Ltd., is based at 31/408, Goyal Sadan. We are right near the Gandhi Ashram on the Bye Pass Road. It's a busy stretch of road, so there's always the sound of traffic in the background. We have been in the stone trade for a long time. The building, Goyal Sadan, serves as both our office and a bit of a storage area for the samples we show people. We mostly deal with larger stone orders for construction projects around the area. Being on the Bye Pass Road makes it easier for the big trucks to get in and out without getting stuck in the narrow city streets. We aren't big on flashy displays. Usually, if you walk in, you'll see a few of us sitting at old wooden desks surrounded by stacks of paperwork and stone fragments. We've lived in this area for years, and most of the people who work here are like family. We don't use a lot of fancy technology; we still write down most things in ledgers. It works for us. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into everything, so we're constantly wiping down the desks. It’s a practical, no-frills kind of place. We just try to provide what people need for their building work. If you come by, you might have to wait a minute while we finish a phone call or help someone else in the back.
