We are over in Tikoniya Market at Belan Ganj, not too far from where Mahesh Chand Bansal is located. Kumar Enterprises has been around this part of Agra for a good while now. We handle a bit of everything here in terms of general goods. It is more of a supply spot than just a tiny corner shop. We deal with various items that people in the district need for their homes or even for their own small businesses. The space is usually filled with crates and boxes waiting to be sorted and put on the shelves. I usually get here quite early to get things organized before the morning rush of people starts. It gets very hot in the summer, so we keep a small fan going near the desk where I sit. My father started this business and now I handle most of the day-to-day things. We do not spend any money on fancy signs or marketing. Most of our business comes from people walking by or folks who have known us for many years. We try to keep the prices fair because we know everyone in the neighborhood is working hard. Dealing with the suppliers takes up a lot of my time during the week. Sometimes the shipments are late, which can be a bit of a headache for us. But usually, everything runs okay. We just provide what people ask for and try to keep the shelves full. It is a straightforward way to work.
