Vikash International

Vikash International operates out of a spot in Brij Vihar Colony on Sithla Road, which is over in the Khandari area. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it stays relatively quiet compared to the main roads, which we kind of like. The office is at number 85/115 and it’s mostly just filled with desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of paper. We handle various trading tasks throughout the day, which means a lot of time is spent on the phone or checking emails to see where shipments are. It’s not the kind of place with a lobby or anyone to greet you at the door; usually, you’ll just find one of us buried under a stack of invoices. We keep things pretty informal around here. Sometimes the internet acts up or we run out of printer ink at the worst time, but that’s just part of the daily grind. We’ve been in this colony for some time, and the neighbors know us as the people who are always working. There’s nothing particularly special about the setup, just a functional space where we get the business done. We have tea around four o’clock, and that’s usually when we take a break from the spreadsheets. It’s a straightforward operation without any bells and whistles, just people working in a house turned into an office space to keep things moving along.
