Karan Export

We are Karan Export and we’ve been at 25/6 Old Vijay Nagar Colony for quite some time now. This place is more like a house than a factory but we do all our exporting work right from here. There’s usually boxes stacked up in the hallway waiting to go out to the shippers. The neighbors are used to us by now. It’s a quiet colony for the most part, except when the delivery trucks show up and block the lane for a few minutes. We spend a lot of our time checking over items and making sure the labels are on right before they leave. It’s a lot of paperwork too. My desk is always covered in shipping forms and old coffee mugs. We started out just doing a few small things but it grew over the years. It’s still just a small group of us though. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a front desk person to greet people. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back room counting inventory or taping up boxes. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside on the steps for a bit until it comes back on. That’s just life in the colony. We handle everything ourselves from start to finish. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us busy every day. We like the local feel of being in Old Vijay Nagar instead of some big industrial park far away.
