J. K. Cottage Industries

Down at 45 Shamshabad Road, we have J. K. Cottage Industries. It’s a bit of a drive from the main center of town, but we like the space we have here. It’s more of a workshop than a fancy office. There’s usually the sound of machinery or tools going in the background. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you just walk into the main area where we’re all working. The floor is concrete and usually has some scraps or shavings on it. We make things the way we were taught, without much fuss. Shamshabad Road gets pretty busy with trucks, so it can be a bit noisy during the day. We eat our lunch together at a big table in the back. It’s a small operation, just a handful of us who live nearby. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. We just know how to handle the materials we use. Sometimes a project takes longer than we thought it would, and we just have to work a bit later to get it finished. It’s honest work, and we’ve been doing it at this same address for a good number of years now. We just keep our heads down and stay busy.
