Laxmi Handicrafts Centre

Our shop is right in the Gokulpura Handicrafts Market, specifically at Shop No. 28/632. It’s funny because we are directly opposite Agra College, so we see students walking back and forth all day long. Sometimes they stop in to look at the handicrafts, and other times it is tourists who wandered over from the main sites. The market here is always full of life, though it can get quite dusty with all the work going on. We have been sitting here for years, surrounded by all sorts of handmade items. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside with all the stock we keep, but we know where everything is. Usually, you can find us dusting off the shelves or talking to the neighbors about how the day is going. We don’t have a big corporate team; it’s just us handling the day-to-day stuff. The building is older, and the sign outside has seen better days, but it gets the job done. We like being in this part of Gokulpura. It feels like we are part of the history of the area. People know they can find us across from the college if they need something unique. It isn't a fancy setup, just a real shop where we work hard and hope for a good turnout each week. We keep the doors open even when it’s slow, just in case someone needs something we have in the back.
