Bimal Brothers

We’ve been at 37//106/78 Dayal Bagh Road for a long time now. It’s right near the mosque in New Agra, which makes it easy to find for most people. Bimal Brothers is just a place where we keep things moving every day. Sometimes it's real busy and sometimes it's quiet enough to read the paper. We open up early and stay until late evening. People from the colony come by for whatever they need. We don't have fancy glass displays or anything like that. It's just us working here. My brother and I manage the stock and the billing. The road outside can get noisy with all the traffic, but we are used to it by now. We know most of the people who walk past our door every morning. If you are looking for the mosque, you will find us right there. It’s a simple setup. We don't try to be something we aren't. Just a local shop on the corner. We spend most of our day checking lists and talking to neighbors about this and that. The building is old but it stays cool enough even in the summer heat. We keep the shelves filled as much as we can. It's a lot of work but it keeps us going. We’ve seen the area change over the years. New Agra is different now than when we started out. But the shop stays pretty much the same. We like it that way. No big surprises here.
